Coordination and safety at work aims to coordinate and implement the general principles of preventing professional risks, as referred to in the framework directive on safety, hygiene and health at work.
In view of the specific characteristics of construction projects, the Shipyards Directive appoints two Coordination professionals: Project Coordinator and Work Coordinator – who carry out their activities during these same phases of the construction process.

Coordination and safety is ensured by our technicians through methodologies for identifying, analysing and preventing risks in the execution of each specialty involved. All activities are monitored individually and as a whole, and their development is accompanied by transparent disclosure with all those involved: owner, contractor, subcontractors, ACT and others.
It is also the responsibility of our safety coordinator to carry out all mandatory communications to the ACT.
The safety and health plan is one of the fundamental tools for planning and organizing safety at work in temporary or mobile construction sites, available to the safety coordination system, which justifies the need to improve the respective regulations.
The amendments relating to the health and safety plan concern, in the first place, the process of its elaboration. The plan must be prepared from the design phase of the work, being later developed and specified before moving on to the execution of the work, with the opening of the shipyard. It is a single safety and health plan for the work, whose preparation accompanies the evolution of the project phase of the work to its execution.
The safety coordinator and the safety and health plan are not mandatory in less complex works where the risks are normally lower. However, if certain works involving special risks are to be carried out on these works, the executing entity must have safety procedure sheets that indicate the necessary preventive measures to carry out these works.
