What are Specialty Projects?

Specialty projects are an integral part of planning for the construction of a property and play a key role in its success.

It is in each of the specialty projects that the locations and ways of executing such important parts of a property are defined, such as the power supply and distribution of electricity, gas, water and much more. These projects are basically the detailing of each of the components and how they relate to the projected building.

It is also important to make specialties compatible with each other in order to reduce additional costs. All these objectives are achieved through constant dialogue between our technical designers when calculating and designing each solution.

At BECERTIF we develop and coordinate specialties if the client requests it, both in the licensing phase, as well as in the execution or monitoring of the work. In accordance with Ordinance No. 232/2008 of March 11, the specialty projects we usually present are the following:

SPECIALTY PROJECTS: WE SIMPLIFY IT FOR YOU

DOES AN ENGINEER DO ALL THE SPECIALTY PROJECTS?

Not normally. Engineers are qualified in a different way and few are used to developing structures, hydraulics, electricity and telecommunications, gas, thermal behaviour with energy certification at the same time.

It is normal and advisable for projects to be developed by two or three engineers, also because costs are thus lower since the engineer is more trained in the task he performs.

HOW MUCH DO SPECIALTY PROJECTS COST?

As with architectural projects, the cost of specialty projects depends on the size of the investment and the time in hours consequently spent by the design engineers.
